my mandarin is very rusty. am trying to do a sign for a refugee esl class with a variety of ethnic groups in it. something like
Wherever you are in your journey of faith, you are welcome here.
any advice or assistance appreciated. i would like to do it in PinYin, Simplified and Traditional long form characters.

good question. Actually we don't have a sentence to describe this literally in Chinese. We can translate it as:
simplified: 无论你在你的信仰之路上走了多远，我们都欢迎你。
traditional: 無論你在你的信仰之路上走了多遠，我們都歡迎你。
pinyin: wúlùn nǐ zài nǐ de xìnyǎng zhīlù shàng zǒu le duōyuǎn，wǒmen dōu huānyíng nǐ。
And if you want to say this in the most Chinese style, you can just say:
simplified: 无论你是谁，我们都欢迎你。
traditional: 無論你是誰，我們都歡迎你。
pinyin: wúlùn nǐ shì shéi，wǒmen dōu huānyíng nǐ.

I think I'd prefer the second translation (无论你是谁，我们都欢迎你) of the two. I don't think "journey of faith" really translates well into Chinese, and if it's supposed to go on a sign short is probably better.
