In the studio with David Moser this week is Zhang Lijia: writer, journalist and once munitions worker. From her humble origins producing ICBM components in a factory in Nanjing, Zhang taught herself English and participated in the 1989 Tiananmen Square movement, before moving to England for three years. She is best known as the author of the personal memoir "Socialism Is Great!", which talks about her experiences growing up in China in the 1980s.
