We actually did a cover of that song by Dao Lang for KTV Wednesday ages ago (the link is here), and yeah, it's a good one.

I've always wondererd what the origins of the song are myself - the music doesn't fit the traditional 汉 style, which suggests it might be a Sinacized folk tune for Central Asia? Dao Lang has apparently spent a lot of time out in Xinjiang and western China, so it's not surprising he's done the cover. If you've been listening to another version, why not give us the link.
