Can you recommend some good Chinese music? Or an internet radio station? I know tastes differ, but I'd like to get a range of opinions.
I'm not a fan of modern Chinese music, but I really like 邓丽君. Her music's easy to get hold of, just go on baidu and you can download it for free. Look out for 我只在乎你,你怎么说,千言万语 and 命运之川. Those are my favourites!
@blueblade3000,Have you tried our KTV Wednesday http://popupchinese.com/lessons/ktv-wednesday/ ? --Echoecho@popupchinese.com
--Echoecho@popupchinese.com
Also, not Chinese per se, but this French/Vietnamese producer called Onra released two albums called Chinoiseries part 1 & 2. They each have thirty-odd instrumentals in which he samples old Vietnamese and Chinese records from the 60's and 70's. It has a really authentic, vintage feel, but with a modern twist. Here's a video of one of his tracks:

--Amberamber@popupchinese.com

Ha! I wasn't aware of KTV Wednesday. That's just what I'm looking for. Thanks!
--Amberamber@popupchinese.com

@murrayjames, David said I should put it online so everybody can hear it. What do you think? --Amberamber@popupchinese.com
