Hi everyone!I'm trying to find chinese courses on december... do You have any ideas? I'm only - for the time being - interested in oral lessons. Thanks!
Hi Hans,You should check your local colleges/universities. They often have courses available that are open for enrollment. If you want specifically oral lessons you may want to find a tutor instead. I only had one class at my school dedicated to spoken Chinese. The rest were broader and covered all topics of reading/writing/speaking/listening.Craig

Hi everyone, and thanks for your answers!
I've been twice in China: first time was two years ago and that's what motivated me to learn Chinese. Second time was three weeks ago, but I only stayed one week in China (and one week in Hong Kong).
Unfortunately, going to China isn't so easy for me: twenty hours of flight or so to reach HK airport...
I have to ask for a visa too because I have french nationality (please forgive my bad english!).
I'm looking to improve speaking/listening... :)

Hi!I made some research on the internet and found MANY many chinese courses in China and in Hong-Kong. Because of the dates, it seems I'll have to go for one-to-one courses.Unfortunately, I have no idea which schools are good or not. Any recommendation?I would prefer to find a school in Hong-Kong or Beijing; unless you know a really great school :)
check out the website of BLCU, http://www.blcu.edu.cn/blcuweb/english/index-en.asp to see if they offer anything in December. I believe they do Dec 5 to Dec 28 for Chinese Teacher Training.gdeboeck@mac.com

Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately, I'll be on holidays only from Dec 17 :(
If you want to go to Beijing, there are plenty of schools in the Wudaokou: 五道口 area. All of them offer pay as you go lessons and you can simply turn upGlobal Village School - 地球村 http://www.thebeijinger.com/directory/Global-Village-Language-SchoolSinolandhttp://www.sinolandchinese.com/index1.aspAre some of the options availableTruth be told there are a plethora of options available in Beijing and almost all of them are good up to a point. You'll have to get a tourist visa and find a place to live yourself, although some of the schools can provide a visa if you can contact them and organise it.
