Characters are taken from Heisig's Remembering Simplified Hanzi Vol. 1. He has some good ideas about mnemonics for radicals, but the book lacks any information on pronunciation or usage (save for a pinyin index hidden in the back). I was unimpressed given his reputation among students of Japanese.

Another nice test. I look forward to these - I find the format really good for identifying my weaknesses with tones actually.
