Today we are pleased to introduce a new kind of HSK exercise which makes its debut on the new HSK exam at level three. Although the exam officially refers to these questions as writing exercises, you do not yet need to actually be able to write Chinese characters. The challenge is simply to rearrange a scrambled sentence into unscrambled form. To do this using our online test system, simply click-and-drag the sentence fragments into the correct order.Students considering taking the new HSK should be aware of another major difference between level three and its preceding levels. Starting at this level, students are required to answer all questions using Chinese characters only. At previous levels pinyin is generally provided. Good luck!
