Although there may be a few unfamiliar phrases tucked in this dialogue, our clip for today should be fairly easy to understand. It's not short on clues either, so we think you've got a good chance of getting it right. You are right that it was easy to guess, but still good for learning a few phrases. Still not entirely clear on what is meant by 植物. Can you give another example of this usage? Thanks!

@anna - it's 职务 rather than 植物. same tones, and I was wondering why he was gifting her a plant at first too.

@anna&orbital,

When I first listened to the clip, I had the same thought with orbital. Then with 下文, I figured out what is going on.

It is 职务--job position in the clip, not 植物--plant. The man meant he had a job offer for the woman.
