Today marks our first reading comprehension exercise for beginner students. As with our fill-in-the-blank exercises, these questions are a core part of the HSK. Your challenge as a test-taker is to identify which of the available options best reflects the meaning of the selected word from its original sentence. While the complete sentences may include words you are unfamiliar with, the particular words you will be tested on here are considered basic vocabulary for the early levels of the HSK. Being able to intuit meaning from an only partially-understood sentence is part of the challenge. Good luck!

14/15. Close but ended up getting 报纸 and 报道 mixed up, and came close to answering the 知道 and 认为 question wrong too.
When's the next advanced test coming down the pipeline?

@lesdavy - if the automatic javascript conversion goes horribly awry, set your preferences on this page:http://popupchinese.com/users/settingsThere is still the occasional bug with the conversion scripts. We are expecting to have this fixed for launch.

Just regenerated them, thanks. These early tests are some of our first lessons. We've since ironed out a couple of bugs in the lesson production process that could interfere with things like PDF production, so there may still be one or two missing them.
