In today's exercise, listen to a longer spoken passage, and then answer three questions which test your comprehension. The difficulty is not so much the time pressure as the lack of repetition: you only get one shot at hearing the passage! One useful strategy to cope with this is scanning the questions quickly before the dialogue begins.

This is a much tougher exercise, mostly because I can't review the spoken text to figure out what I got wrong. I know that this is supposed to be a listening exercise, but it would be a lot more useful as a preparation exercise if the text were available somewhere.

Maybe you could put it on the lessons page. This way I could review the answers I got wrong and figure out where I'm making mistakes.

I agree. Still a good exercise though.

Are the transcripts of these passages (esp. the second one) available somewhere for downloading?

Useful for practicing comprehension.

Thank you.

@huyilin,

I'm afraid that right now we don't have transcripts for HSK listening tests. You can always write to me or leave a comment on the site if you have any questions about the tests.

6/6, but partly through common sense - didn't really have a clue what the guy in the "heart" passage was talking about!
