Welcome to the first lesson in our structured HSK course for students at the Intermediate level.

Our course begins with a selection of standard HSK listening exercises. When you are ready to start click through to the quiz section. Click on the audio player beside each question to hear a short statement spoken in Chinese. Read the question and select the most appropriate answer based on your understanding of the statement.

You can also download the entire question audio as a separate MP3 file. The questions can be downloaded as part of our standard lesson PDF file.

Hi, first time posting here. Nice test but I don't get the answer for Q14: Why isn't it (d)?

Welcome to the site.

Yes. The correct answer is most certainly #d. Corrected with thanks.

Hi, I seem to be between beginner and intermediate levels, and I find some of the listening exercises difficult. Would it be possible to have transcripts for each passage? Btw, great website!

Thanks Barnaby. We'll be introducing transcripts of the spoken questions in time, probably putting them in the "text" section of the lesson so we can provide the mouseover popups as with the short stories or dialogues.

If you have other suggestions, ideas or questions feel free to fire away anytime.

For Q13: why isn't (c)?

If i'm not mistaken the audio say:

老刘,小张说请你帮他把这本书还给老王。

That means the one who borrowed the book is 小张 right?

@rinrn3,

You are right, the correct answer can be 小张.

The question itself is not clear enough, because 借 means both "to borrow" and "to lend". We will change the question and the recording soon, to make it clearer.

Thank you very much for pointing out the mistake. And we hope you have a good time here.

请问 :)

1 应该需要多长时间把15个问题都做完?

2 真实考HSK时,每题能听几遍?

@brshill,

我们的模拟题和真正的试题时间是一致的,每道题只能听一遍 :(
