Does anyone know what 砸场子 means? It was on an episode of 爱情公寓 I was watching the other night, and I looked it up in my usual Chinese dictionary, a special slang dictionary, and Googled/Baidued it. I couldn't get a clear answer. It seems from the context that it should mean something like "give undeserved admiration," but I'm not quite sure.

It is a slang meaning someone does something(like breaking things or embarrassing people) at somewhere(usually somewhere people do business) to stop other people from doing something(usually business).

Yup - everything from "trash the place" to "spoil everyone's fun." General meaning is probably something like "poisoning the well."
