Got it. Seems that the lessons were getting marked as "unstudied" and then immediately marked as "studied" again once the page was refreshed. Which meant it was... yup... impossible to manually remove them.

This should be fixed now and I can confirm it works on my system. Another way of resetting everything, by the way, is to use the "Update My Subscriptions" button on the podcast page and then click "OK" when we ask if we can/should delete your existing studied lessons.
