Looks like we were deleting server-side but not updating the page immediately due to a javascript error I seem to have introduced recently. I've just fixed this on our side so delete should be working normally again.

As far as editing goes -- you should be able to click on any word to edit its definition / pinyin / etc. This works for me in both Firefox and Safari on Mac, so if it's broken for you can you let me know what browser and OS you're using?
