I am curious if anyone knows of any well-written, insightful blogs kept by Chinese students or workers living in the U.S. I'm looking for something similar to the traditional "noodle blogs" written by Westerners about everyday life as foreigner in a new country. Something like beijingcream.com but in Chinese. If so, please share. Cheers.
I'd be interested in seeing these too! Back in the day, there weren't really blogs so much as there were threads on discussion forums like MITBBS and others -- but that was circa 2004/5, so I'd assume it's probably no longer really the case. I think social media have kind of cannibalized blogs for Chinese audiences in the same way they have for English audiences, so you'll probably also want to look around on Weibo and Renren and sites like that -- though even those seem to be giving way to more private sharing through WeChat and similar things.
