I am looking for another study tool to supplement my current approach of listening to podcasts here on Popup Chinese.I am wondering whether anyone knows if there are any dvd's/movies that support specifically pinyin subtitles throughout the whole film? I would be interested in buying the movies or if I can locate them on the web would suffice. Thanks for any feedback.
I'd like to add to, I myself am looking for any sort of Taobao shop that specializes in selling DVDs with the aforementioned subtitles, or particularly, with English subtitles, too, for Mainland China releases, which I find incredibly hard to come by in street shops.I've been told that any Mainland Chinese release DVDs slated for Hong Kong distribution have English subtitles (of varying quality) slapped onto them, but I haven't had any luck finding any Taobao shop that deals with this type of thing.Any feedback, yes, would be very, very appreciated.
@鱼香茄子,I know there are some HK movies produced in 90s have Chinese and English subtitles together, but I don't think I've seen pinyin subtitles. Anyone knows?--Echoecho@popupchinese.com
Have you checked out short videos by Fluentu? It's free but requires VPN if you live in China.
Kiriwai - I wasn't exactly looking for this, but it turns out to be a pretty cool site. Have you used this before in the past. I like this method, since I am a visual learner. I like to see the pinyin words and then I pronounce them and that way it sticks in my mind. Thanks again!Eric
