I've been away from the site for a while so forgive me if is has already been mentioned but I've noticed quite a few problems with the vocabulary reviews over the last 2-3 days.

1. When I get cards correct, the points often are not added to the weekly and overall total. This always happens when I go to study center and hit the review button.

2. Every time I start a review the same cards keep coming up in the same order, it used to be much more random.

3. Some of the lesson reviews display blank answers.

Not sure if this is happening to anyone else.

I'm somewhat mystified actually, since I'm having difficulty replicating any of these issues (even while logged-in under your account). Just to add details:

1. The points system seems to be working. Javascript handles the real-time adding, so if there is a javascript problem that could cause problems. What browser are you using? Do you get any strange error messages?

2. Could not replicate this. The only time things should get "relatively" predictable is when there simply isn't much in the vocab list. But even then it should be randomized. Are you just hitting "Review" in the study center or loading a specific vocab list from your wordlist? Lesson materials also seem to be loading randomly for me....

3. If you see blank answers this should definitely not be happening. Can you forward me the details on the question or word tested along with question type -- multiple-choice english, multiple-choice pinyin, etc.. I'll take a look into this now, but if it is a bug it will probably be easier to hunt down with details.

I am actually getting 2 on my iPad as well. Same words, same order, for more than a week. Not even different questions for the same words. For example, It will ask me for the pinyin of 怎么样 but it will never ask to translate it, to choose the correct of mulitple pin yin, to choose the correct translation, etc.

Now, something that might be causing this is my review settings. I currently have rank 1 and 2 words set to 1 for both ranks, to strengthen new words.

Hmm... I can guarantee that this isn't happening on the server. Maybe the problem is that the version of Safari on the iPad is caching all of requests and serving up old/stale data?

Update: I've just added a random variable to the URL used to fetch the test questions. So IF this is the problem, it should be fixed. Can one of you guys let me know? Preferably closing and then reopening Safari first so that you get the latest version of the javascript, or loading from a "new" page like this:

So here's what I found. It is only an issue on my iPad which I just recently updated the software. It does not happen on my iPod touch or windows PC. I think it must be a software issue on the iPad. Any idea how to reinstall the previous version of the software?

I'm having a different problem recently. Some times the entry is incorrect. For instance, for 別管我, the English entry is Don_APOS_t mind me. Obviously that's a simple fix. Also, in my review quizzes lately, there have been occasions where two choices will both be the right answer. Sometimes I click on them and they're marked wrong, and sometimes they're right. I've checked them very carefully to make sure they're not different, and sure enough they are identical. Just a couple of random issues. I'm loving the site and premium subscription so far!
