Ok, so I was awaking through a mall the other day, when I saw an advertisement with these characters written really big across the top: 我和老妈一起嫁

Transliterally speaking, I know what it says: the old mother & I get married together.

But I know this can't be the translation or the real meaning...

Any other ideas?

@seamus5,

I guess it's an advertisement of blind dating for both young and old people :)

Ah, but how would that sentence be translated? Did Iget it correct?

@seamus5,

Yes, "my old mother and I get married together".
