All the old Popup fans who have been with us for years or those who just listened to this lesson: http://www.popupchinese.com/lessons/absolute-beginners/who-is-bradley-cooper may have known that I liked Bradley Cooper.

However, now I have found my new sweetheart -- the Doctor -- David Tennant.

What do you guys think about him or the Doctor? If you love him as much as I do or had never heard about him before, don't worry, I promise his name will appear on our site again :)

Bradley, if you're a member, your window of opportunity to fly to Beijing and stage a dramatic gesture of affection is rapidly closing.

To David, welcome and congratulations. Judging from the Popup Chinese's (Echo's) love for Bradley Cooper, I hope you're prepared to be lavished with attention (sandwiched between grammar points and cultural discussion). Also, your chances of being declared the world's sexiest man have greatly improved.

It's bittersweet for me. I miss the snide Bradley Cooper jokes from Brendan the most.

David Tennant regenerated on 1 January 2010. He now looks like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Smith_(actor)

Ah Echo, you've fallen for that wonderful Scottish charm (I'm assuming you know David Tennant's Scottish) and as a fellow Scot living in Beijing, I have to say you have excellent taste:)

@dmandrew,

I KNOW! Now I think the Scottish accent is the sexiest accent in the world. Don't get too surprised if you hear me start speaking it in our podcasts in future :)

Scottish, eh? And here we've been hearing about nothing but the wonders of his British accent for the last few days!

@trevelyan

Well, he actually speaks with an English accent in Dr. Who, but his native accent is Scottish.
