A quick note that I've recently released a new iPhone app that can help with searching for Chinese characters. It works for both traditional and simplified Chinese, and we have a video online here:

What is new about this is that you can do character spatial layout search, stroke, radical, sound, meaning search very easily. The app is available on the Apple app store, and we're planning to release updates and improvements in 3-6 months.
