I wasn't aware that food inflation was supposed to be double core CPI, and wonder if the general figures aren't really underreported. At least here in Beijing price inflation seems a lot closer to 10 percent year-on-year. Rental costs in Beijing are routinely going up by that much if not more, especially in the last year. We're looking at more than a 10 percent increase this year and are considering a move.
