Hi,

I'm not sure if this thread exists, but can you guys recommend any good Chinese novels that uses everyday vocabulary for approximately middle school level? Or any good graphic novels? Anything captivating in relationships, life, etc. I've been watching 爱情公寓, there are quite a few words I don't understand (mostly idioms), but I understand the storyline. I really like that show, if you know of anything like it, but a bit easier could you tell me?

Thanks!

@ktjiejie,

I just finished reading <八十天环游地球>, and I think it might fit the bill -I confiscated it from a middle school student. It's a good read too, and the chapters are mercifully short. I found it really good for picking up chunks of vocab and idioms.
