A question about the pronunciation of 露 lu4/lou4.

I know that 血 is usually pronounced xie3 by itself, xue4 when part of a word or set phrase, and xue3 in colloquial (though technically incorrect) usage.

Are their similar rules for 露?

你想得非常好！Very similar to 血，when you use 露 in a word, like 流露, it should be lu4. In colloquial usage, like 露出来, you want to say lou4.
