I've already scattered positive words across this site, but I'd like to leave another word of encouragement here. I think that out of all of my studying materials, Popup Chinese has been the best one. Instead of learning dry textbook Chinese, I've been treated with some real spoken Chinese, Chinese that I see and use all the time. My listening ability still has a long way to go, but the only reason it's even barely functional today is because I've been listening to you guys.

I sometimes hear impressed laughs when I slip out a colloquial expression or word, and I always think "I know where that came from!"
