There was a "sample" sentence used in one of the lessons - where, exactly, I have no idea. It was something like "What does that girl have to brag about, she's just a girl who couldn't hack studying abroad" - The Chinese I'm looking for is that 'can't hack it' phrase...i don't remember which lesson or anything but perhaps someone else does...

I think I remember this sentence too. Was "couldn't hack it" 混不下去, by any chance?
