I have used iTunes but never quite understood what I am doing downloading. There was a change when IOS was updated too. At the moment I am subscribed to Advanced and Elementary. Elementary is enough for me though. I also want Sinica. I seem to have two subscriptions, one to Advanced, which says 46 new episodes (125 total), and one to Elementary, which says 4 new episodes (5 total). At least, that's what it says on the computer in iTunes. When I have the iPod away from the kitchen and I want to listen to an elementary podcast, it says Unable to download now, or something like that. (At the same time it says there are 18 there, not 5). That applies to ones I've already heard (before IOS 6) and ones I haven't. Some of the ones I've already heard I would like to hear again, so my second question: if I've listened once via iTunes, the podcast is deleted, is that right? (I don't know any other way to delete podcasts on iTunes).Should I unsubscribe from Advanced, delete everything and start again?
I have now found out how to re-download old podcasts on iTunes, so I withdraw the question. I had the problem yesterday that they refused to download, and those already downloaded wouldn't play. I don't find iTunes very intuitive. I would find it helpful if I didn't have to sit at the computer to see which lessons are elementary, which are intermediate and which are Sinica.
