Can someone help explain what 我州 means?

Here is the context:

我州番茄酱销售同比下降22% 已销售番茄酱8.7万吨 库存9万余吨

Is it another way of saying CHINA, as in 我国?

Or does it mean province?

Thanks in advance!

@lhrkll,

The news is from 巴音郭楞蒙古自治"州" (self-autonomous prefecture), that's why it's "我州". If it's 北京市,then it's 我市. It depends on what the subject is.

"州" is a special administration unit in China, and mainly exist in those west part of China which are relative less developed.
