Hi Everyone,Who is sitting the HSK this year?I have a little over 3 weeks to prepare for Level 4 and was wondering who else is sitting for it and what tips we can share to help each other at any level...Annie

I would highly recommend purchasing 新HSK汉语水平考试，模拟试题集。 published by 北京语言大学出版社. The book is available for all levels and includes a MP3, each book includes several practice tests that are identical in format to what you will see on the test. I took both 4 and 5 last year and am now preparing for 6 and these texts are fantastic. In my opinion they are the best thing to get you ready for what to expect on the real exam. One tip, make sure you adhere to the time limits given when taking the practice test, this will give you a good idea of where your strengths and weakness are.

Great! I already have this book so I am on the right track. I am having trouble finding the grammar that is expected of this level...
- Are there any grammar guidelines or anything I should look at? I only found out that I could sit the exam at the weekend. I have about 3 weeks to prepare so all help is welcome! Thanks for the tips so far.

I would recommend to work though the sample tests. If you can do everything in there you should be just fine. If you have problems or questions, this is a great place to get help as there are lots of people willing to assit.

Ok, I now have another questions along the same line. For HSK Level 4. I have been studying from a book called 汉语水平考试必备图书（初，中等）HSK 听力宝典。Published by 外文出版社, 2009年。
Is this book good to be using? Is it from the new HSK material? I notice that they also have 与法宝典，阅读宝典，综合宝典。Worth getting?
If there are any other books you recommend let me know- I have a friend in China that is getting me a few books this week.
