Whenever I try to post something on the forum I get the message: "This post exists. We should redirect to it so the user can comment." What's going on?
Looks like I was able to post this message, though. My original question was: does anybody know how to say "bubblewrap" (as in packing) in Chinese, 气泡布/纸?
Short answer: I don't know how to say bubblewrap in Chinese. Will float the question around though. On the tech issue -- usually that error should be triggered if the title is substantively similar to something that has already been posted, as the title of the "post" in the system needs to be unique. Maybe there is a bug in the part of software that handles this, and it is coughing up blood on uncommon characters like / . Not sure....
Thanks, trevelyan! I think I will just go with Pleco's suggestion... :-)

I asked my wife about bubble wrap, and she suggested this: 气泡膜 / qi4pao4mo2 (lit: bubble membrane).
