Spent the evening in between the Drum and Bell tower taking cover from rocket mortars gone astray. An extremely festive and fun atmosphere. One of the most fun times I have ever had.

Happy New Year to everyone!

I was in Hong Kong during Chinese New Year last year and loved it - I'm trying to find ways to replicate it here in the US as much as I can :)

I had dinner at a good Chinese restaurant in DC (my boyfriend and I were the only non-Chinese people in there!) and this upcoming Sunday I'm going back to DC for the Chinese New Year Parade. At my university we're having a celebration this Friday and I'll be going to that, too :)
