Hi all,

Is there a standard way to translate a Bachelor of Arts (Honours)degree into Chinese? Because I got my degree in the Australian system (modelled on the British one), the "Honours" indicates an extra year of study/coursework, along with a thesis of around 15,000 to 20,000 words. But as I understand it, China (and the US) don't follow this system.

So, do I need to just use 文科学士 and leave it at that? Any help appreciated! Matt.

Matt, we call it 文学学士。In China, student need to finish 4 years of study to gain this degree.
