And our new site teaching how to learn Cantonese is now live at http://popupcantonese.com. If you already have an account on Popup Chinese you'll find that you can use your existing username and password to get access to Popup Cantonese too. If you don't already have an account with us you'll need to sign up for both sites separately now.

We've crushed most of the problems with the new site, but there are doubtless still some lurking around just waiting to inconvenience people. So if you stumble into something that seems horribly broken please don't be surprised or offended. Just send us an email reporting the issue at service@popupcantonese.com and we'll do our best to get the issue fixed in the next day or two. There are still a number of things we need to do like get our iTunes feed live, etc. that we will be taking care of over the next few days as well. So we will keep busy.

As far as the content goes, our publication schedule for the next few weeks will be around 10 lessons a month while we make sure everything works smoothly. We're starting with a Critical Phrases lesson series that we've designed to introduce really high frequency phrases and help people learn the tones. Our first KTV Wednesday show will be out on Wednesday and then a more advanced lesson on Friday. Most of the lessons we're starting with will be in our critical phrases series though. We'll be publishing all of these before we more on to more lengthy and involved dialogue-based podcasts.

Thanks for your patience, and we'll see you on Popup Cantonese. And feedback and suggestions on how to improve the site are welcome as always.

Best,

--david
