Since no-one answers questions on CC101 anymore, I thought I'd ask here - perhaps Echo can answer.

Firstly, where have you gone Echo? No lessons featuring you have appeared on CC101 since March 1.

Secondly, where have the Lower Intermediate lessons gone? They cut out after lesson 5.

In fact, where are all the new lessons?? Each week, there is one new lesson at the Absolute Beginners level, and a rubbish Video lesson. And once in a blue moon you might get a Survival Phrases lesson.

So there are no longer any lessons above the Beginners level.

Is CC101 in trouble? Is it on the way out. If it wasn't in trouble already, it will definitely go down the gurgler with that sort of meager output.

@Nowhere Man,

A quick count shows 15 comments in the last two days, and Jane is pretty active on the comment board Monday to Friday. So if you've been posting questions and haven't gotten answers that's an issue and I'll look into it.

There should be new Absolute Beginner and Lower Intermediate lessons getting released now, but there are been some issues with the NY office in the last month or two that may have affected things. I'll see if I can sort things out and get back to you.

Best,

@Nowhere Man,

Hi, I'm right here!

Sorry about all of these problems CC101 may have and all the inconvenience they caused. Day-to-day operations with CC101 are taken care of in New York. So we'll look into these problems, but it will take a day or two to figure out the problem. Meanwhile, if you have any Chinese questions or suggestions about Popup Chinese, please also feel free to write to me or leave a comment here.

@Nowhere Man,

We just heard back from Japan. There should be an Absolute Beginner and Intermediate series coming out on CC101 now. It looks like things fell through with publishing the Intermediate lessons because of the earthquake and tsunami. We'll get the stuff up soon and I'll look into why we didn't catch this earlier.

Sorry,
