I'm having trouble understanding the use of 跟 in a youtube reply to one of my comments in chinese. Its always dangerous when you attempt a one-to-one translation from English to Chinese. here is the two-line dialogue:

我:可能会也可能不会。

给我留言的人: 那你就跟没说一样啦 哈哈~会的会的。。。当然了 不是靠现在这个政府.

I think I understand what the person is saying. Is it something like "your not talking about the same thing ha ha [mocking what I wrote]...of course not with the government right now.

It means 和,好像 here. You can translate the sentence as "that's as good as not answering".
