It's been a while since we've forced our podcasters into the studio for a Chinese-only recording. That drought ends today as our resident Beijing-expert Baifan returns to share news of his decision to purchase a home, a revelation that sparks an in-depth discussion about real estate with Echo and Apple. If you're an advanced student looking for listening practice, join us for a revealing look at the local housing market. Our executive summary: location is key and the best time to purchase may be late this year or early next.

@xiaoxin,

Btw, good photo choice, David :)

@blcsfo - we want to be publishing one podcast every two weeks or so at this level. we've been a bit light on the podcasting, although HSK test and short story production has still gone quite strong for the past month. If you're running short of content I'd encourage you to check out our archive of manually annotated short stories.

I like to the load the Dream of the Red Chamber recordings on my own iPod. I find they tend to be pretty incomprehensible until you've read the book, then a really useful/fun study/review exercise.
