fh071,

Guo4min2 is a verb, so dui4 shen2me5 guo4min2 is all you need.

Thanks Echo. So here's a question for you -- how would you say 100007? It seems pretty awkward if we have to say 10 wan4 ling2 ling2 ling2 qi1, but that's the only way I can imagine doing it.

dainichi,

It should be (是)谁让你进来的. Lots of times it is acceptable to drop the first 是, but not to drop the last 的. Maybe someone can correct me, but I don't think it is possible to put 让 in the past like that. It's like thinking or feeling and is almost always in the present aspect, even when used to describe past states of being.

minghan -- that would be 一百 ling2 七. The pronunciation of the zero avoids the ambiguity in cases like 一百七八 which, unless I'm mistaken, would be "around 170 or 180" rather than "178".

I think you can do it, but why include the 了 if it's a question? Maybe Echo can chime in here, but I'm guessing that if you include the 了 it means "must you attend class NOW" as opposed to "must you go to class"?
