Hi, every one.

I found this interesting website as a result of searching for China-related English websites to learn English.

At the outset, when I glimpsed some comments in Chinese, I thought there were plenty Chinese native speakers here. Then after I read them, I knew they were written by advanced Chinese learners --- good grammar and syntax with some non-idiomatic and weird words.

Any way, I like this website and I want to assist and learn English at the same time.

Even though I have a college degree of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, it doesn't help for I never learned hard. Now, I'm pursuing my master degree of translating and interpreting in Macquarie University, Sydney.

Nice to meet you guys.

I'm not a native speaker, but my girlfriend, a native Cantonese speaker, often listens along with me just because she is interested in the topics and improving her Mandarin and English.

I think what you are doing is great! I would love to find a similar site geared for teaching English to Chinese speakers. Please let me know if you know any!

hey, i am a native Chienese speaker, too. Nice to meet you. I have a bachelor degree of English Translation, and a master degree of English Language Studies at BFSU, majoring in Australian Studies. I used to apply for a PHD at Sydney University. Unfortunately, i got rejected with no Scholarship. Anyway, nice to see U. Keep in touch and we can make friends on the website.

Hey nice to know you, I am not a native speaker but I do speak it fluently for I am an overseas Chinese. I speak English, Spanish and Mandarin, my problem is reading and writing, though I can read more than write and want to improve my Chinese writing skills.

I'm a beginner at Chinese, but I've started listening to OMG! 美语 on YouTube, http://www.youtube.com/user/OMGmeiyu. That channel is for native Chinese speakers who are learning English, but it's valuable to me to have Chinese dialog to listen to.

Now I'm wondering if I'm learning "non-idiomatic weird words" from those videos.
