Yet another Popup Chinese video....
We've just put up a new Popup Chinese video. If you're not logged in, you'll probably already have noticed it sitting right there on the front page. If you
are logged in try logging out for a bit and you'll be able to see it too. Right on the main page:
http://popupchinese.com
Our goal with this video is to help new visitors understand a bit more about what we do and get a sense for some of the people who are working here behind the scenes. We also tip the hat a bit about some of the things that set us apart as the best resource on the web for serious Chinese language study.
If you're looking for a distracting minute I'd encourage you to check it out, if for nothing more than the spectacular visuals of some of our recording team. Those of you who've been in Beijing should also pick up on the location of parts of our photo shoot almost instantly: the Drum Tower, Gulou Dong Street and Houhai - the ancient man-made lake that runs into the hutongs north of the Forbidden City. This isn't far from our office, by the way, so you get to see our neighborhood too. Should be almost instantly recognizable to those of you who've been in Beijing and know why this is such a great city.
